Warranty and Returns
All parts sold by iMoto are imported by the official Australian distributors and therefore are backed by their individual product warranties.
Each distributor has their own specific set of criteria that covers their products for warranty. This list outlines the main areas for warranty claims.
Warranty does not cover the following; misuse, modification, negligence, accidental damage, incorrect maintenance, incorrect fitment, improper storage, use of high pressure cleaners or steam cleaning.
There is no warranty on second hand parts, electrical items or clothing.
Certain products are only covered by warranty if fitted by a qualified motorcycle mechanic. An example of this would be an internal engine part such as a cylinder piston.
Parts fitted to any type of competition or “track” motorcycle are not covered by warranty.
iMoto does not have the authorization to make a warranty claim decision without discussion with the suppliers involved.
Warranty can not be granted until the parts are returned to the original supplier for inspection.
It is preferred that the vehicle fitted with the part under claim of warranty be inspected by iMoto to determine correct fitment and regular maintenance has been carried out.
All listings are obtained from our suppliers catalogues, if we get it wrong, or there is an incorrect listing, let us know and we will be happy to sort it out.
